Dr. Niteen Dedhia set up Ojas Eye Hospital in January of 1987 with the aim to serve people in theirquestforhealthandwell-being–specificallyinthefieldofAdvancedOphthalmology. Locatedin asmall clinic,calledElite NursingHome,Bandra,it representedthefirststepofa longjourney.Befittingitsloftygoals,thefirst centerwasinauguratedbyDr.Chandrika Kenia, thethenHealthMinisterofthe GovernmentofMaharashtra.The endeavorwasblessedbySmt.
