  5. Javelina • They are in the pig family, but are also related to the hippopotamus!

  6. Saguaro • A type of cactus • Can grow over 70 feet tall! • Is a native plate to the Sonoran Desert

  7. Adobe • Spanish word for mud brick • Made from sand, clay, water and sticks or straw • shaped into bricks using molds and dried in the sun
