  2. 2007-2008 Changes to the Advanced Placement Program Open Enrollment – all barriers to taking AP courses were eliminated TCC Students took the AP exam in order to receive AP credit

  3. Advanced Placement Program Results The number of exams taken more than doubled district-wide from 1134 in 2007 2619 in 20084228 expected in 2009

  4. Advanced Placement Program Results The number of students taking AP exams increased as well.

  5. Advanced Placement Program Results The number of scores of 3 or better on a 5 point scale went from 549 in 2007 to 619 in 2008

  6. Advanced Placement Program Results The percent of scores of 3 or better on a 5 point scale declined significantly.

  8. Advanced Placement Program Celebrations AP Chinese Language Exam – 4 out of 5 testers scored a 5

  10. Advanced Placement Program Celebrations AP World History – 450 10th graders took this exam

  11. Advanced Placement Program Celebrations AP BC Calculus 17 students taught at Ben Barber 88% scored 3 or better

  12. Advanced Placement Program Celebrations AP European History 23 students Taught at Ben Barber 57% scored 3 or better
