  4. Lead in Warm-up questions: 1. What is the most common way for people to know a job position? 2. What do you think is the most important step for job application? Through advertisements in newspapers, on TV, in radio, in the Internet, and even through mobile phones, etc. Interview

  5. Lead in Job Interview If you are looking for a job, you'd better read advertisements first. After you reply to the relevant company, you may be asked to have a job interview. Now look at the following job advertisements and try to practice two short dialogues.

  14. Reference Listen & Decode 1. Listen to a dialogue and decode the message by finding the correct choices in the blanks according to what you hear. Mr. 1(Liang, Winston, Walmart) is a job seeker. One day he finds an ad for a shop 2 (doorkeeper, manager, assistant) in a newspaper. Then he gives a phone call to 3 (Allison, Mike, Franklin) about it. He says he has 4 (three, four, five) years’ experience in a 5 ( bookstore, department store, company). He expects to have an interview and his telephone number is 6 (3425349, 2425349, 3245349). He also says that he can come to the interview on 7 (Tuesday, Monday, Thursday) afternoon. Mr. 1(Liang, Winston, Walmart) is a job seeker.
