  2. • After your final paintwork is complete, add 1 or 2 thin coatings of varnish or Klear to get a gloss or semi-gloss finish before applying any decals. A matt or flat paint finish may be the greatest look for your model, but it minimizes the decal's points of contact and might leave small pockets of air beneath the decal. Before proceeding with the decal application stages, ensure that the varnish coat is dry.

  3. How to Put Self-adhesive Decals on a Wall • Begin by carefully picking the decal that will be applied to your model. Cut as close to the artwork/lettering as possible using a new hobby knife blade, leaving little or no of the undesirable clear vinyl that the self-adhesive decal is printed on. You can cut off the decal using scissors, but you may find that a hobby knife is more suited to the task.
