  2. Interior Designer! • A interior design is when you design the layout different rooms. By picking and mixing the different styles wanted and also furnishing a room that could fit well with people’s lives. • Different styles: Modern, Southwestern, Country, Tropical and so on. And with so many possibilities, the options are endless.

  3. The reason I would be good at this job • Is because of my creative I love working with different designs. • Another way would be I enjoy working with people and making sure that I understand what they want. • But my most favorite thing is when I finish the design and I can see how they react to it when they first see it.

  4. PROs and Cons of being in Interior Design PROS Pulling inspiration from anything(culture, nature). Making the designs work for the customers and their standard of living. Having the opportunity to design something that no one as ever saw. CONS Getting stuck with over the top customers. Having to worry all the time about the deadlines and the budget. Having people judge your work.

  5. Favorite Inspirations and Things to go that involve designing I get inspirations from almost everywhere but my favorites would be nature, different countries/ cultures, middle ages(castles), and pieces of furniture. When I’m bored sometimes I will pick one piece of furniture in the room and design a room that would go with it.

  6. I want to go to… MSU • To get into MSU you need… • GPA: 3.4 • ACT: 23 or over • The reason I picked MSU is because I have always been a fan there( programs/campus). • I hope to get as many scholarships as possible.

  7. My Experience… • Next year I will I will be going to the Career Center and taking CAD-Architectural. Designing houses, layouts. • When younger I helped my grandma furnish certain things in her house. • In my free time I’m always drawing up ideas of how I could make my house a better standard of living. • I have talked to people you have had experience with interior design, so I have gotten advice.

What I am planning to contribute • During college I plan on working hard, to get a Bachelor Degree of Arts. • Trying to keep a 3.0 GPA during school. • Taking extra classes to gain as much experience as possible. • Being active within the college(going to games). • Going to all classes and getting good grades. • Getting a job within campus.

  9. After College • Once getting my degree my ideas about what I plan on doing is … • First finding a part time job to get some money. • Then what I really want to do with my degree is to open my own Interior Design small business in Mason. • This way I can be the boss like choosing workers, vacation times, money, and when the store is exactly open.
