  1. Residential Energy Tax Credit (RETC) Update Oregon Department of Energy As Of: 6/3/14

  2. Purpose • Provide information on the upcoming permanent rulemaking schedule. • Highlight areas of the program to be discussed. • Encourage participation by stakeholders at one or more of the several venues in June and July.

  3. Energy Efficient Devices • To be Discussed: • Electric Heat Pump Water Heaters • Air-source(ducted) Heat Pumps • Ductless Heat Pumps • Duct Sealing

  4. Solar Photovoltaic • To be Discussed: • PowerClerk • Incentive Rates • Northwest Solar Communities Current Efforts

  5. Wood and Pellet Stoves To be discussed: Review and simplify tax credit calculation among approved stove types

  6. PV Systems Application Process • RETC PV applications will use the PowerClerk online application platform • Projects applying for Energy Trust incentives will no longer need data entry into a separate application • Final tax credit documentation will be emailed to participant • Electronic signatures will be accepted eliminating the need to print, sign, upload or mail an application • PowerClerk will be released in September, 2014 for testing and required for applications submitted after 6/1/15
