  1. WHAT IS THE BUFFALO NIAGARA BREWERS ASSOCIATION? The Buffalo Niagara Brewers Association formed in 2013 as a 501.c.6 trade association during a renaissance in our region’s craft brewing industry that has seen the rebirth of breweries, brewpubs, beer gardens, barley growing, hop production, and the re-establishment of malt houses. Our mission is to restore and preserve Buffalo Niagara’s brewing heritage and to unite those who make local beer with those who love it. The Association achieves this by: • Building and maintaining a Buffalo Niagara Beer Trail • Educating the public about the importance of locally made craft beer • Organizing and hosting events such as Buffalo Beer Week, the Buffalo Brewers Festival, Farm-to-Pint, the Brewers Invitational Festival, the Canadian American Beer Festival, monthly Meet the Brewers Nights • Partnering with local agriculture, distributors, retailers, pubs, associations and other regional craft beverage producers (wine, cider, and distilleries) to create prominent events that raises visibility through PR and marketing and promotes tourism to the region • Growing the regional enthusiast base via our consumer-facing Buffalo Beer League • Partnering with state and local organizations willing to help the BNBA raise awareness about local craft beer
