KEY TERMS FOR THE DAY • INDIGENOUS – People belonging to a particular ethnic group who were the original inhabitants of an area, i.e. Who have the earliest known historical connection to that area. • MULTICULTURISM – Government policy that recognises equality of all peoples, regardless of ethnicity, race or cultural background.
