KEY TERMS FOR THE DAY • INDIGENOUS – People belonging to a particular ethnic group who were the original inhabitants of an area, i.e. Who have the earliest known historical connection to that area. • MULTICULTURISM – Government policy that recognises equality of all peoples, regardless of ethnicity, race or cultural background.

  4. The ASC is Australia’s primary national sports administration and advisory agency, and the cornerstone of a wide-ranging sports system.
