  16. CAMPUS COMMUNITY • The core of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions System • Provides a single source of data that is shared by offices across BGSU

  17. CAMPUS COMMUNITY • Assigns a unique10-digit BGSU ID-number to each individual • Starts with a ‘0’ • Replaces BGSU’s ‘P’ number • Stays with the individual regardless of relationship to BGSU (applicant, student, BGSU employee, etc)

  45. SUMMARY • Campus Solutions Academic Structure terms include Institution, Career, Group, Program, and Plan • The Campus Community is a single database that stores all prospective students, students, staff and faculty information as Bio-Demo data

  46. SUMMARY • The P number will be replaced by a BGSU ID, a unique ten-digit number that stays with the individual throughout their entire relationship with the university • Human Resources shares the Campus Community database with Campus Solutions

  47. SUMMARY • Holds in Campus Community are called negative service indicators • You must use Search/Match before entering any new individuals into Campus Community or updating records • Campus Solutions modules include Admissions, Student Records, Financial Aid, and Student Financials

  48. SUMMARY • You can use the Menu or Navigation Pages to access menu options and use Tabs to access various pages • Data may be historical, current, or future, as determined by the effective date
