  3. Integration of Word & Excel • No need to re-type data • Data can be transferred from Excel to Word • Several ways to achieve integration CPSC 203 Tutorials by Jie Gao

  4. Possible Ways (1) • Copy then paste: get a table in Word • Copy then paste special: can choose type • HTML table: the same as above • Excel object: embedded worksheet, the formulas still work CPSC 203 Tutorials by Jie Gao

  5. Possible Ways (2) • Copy then paste special as link: data can update dynamically • Insert object: choose an existing file, inserted as an embedded Excel object • Drag from Excel to Word: moved or copied to Word as an embedded Excel object CPSC 203 Tutorials by Jie Gao
