  4. BIOMEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE • Malmö University educates biomedical scientists • specialized within the following • areas: • Molecular biology • Clinical chemistry • Morphology • Clinical physiology • Cytology • Clinical microbiology • Transfusion medicine

  5. BIOMEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE • Bachelor/Master of Science in Biomedical Laboratory Science: • Bachelor degree 180 ECTS credits • Master degree 240 ECTS credits

  6. PUBLIC HEALTH • Public Health programme: • Bachelor degree, 180 ECTS credits • Master degree, 240 ECTS credits • Main subject is Public Health. Other subjects is for example Biomedicine and Social and Behavioural Science. • Great variety of choices for specialisation • Magister-/Master Education, • 120 ECTS credits

  7. HANDICAP AND REHABILITATION SCIENCE The education aims to give basic knowledge from a multiscientific perspective and to prepare for work with disabled people within for example social services or insurance offices.

  8. NURSING • Nursing programme 180 ECTS credits • Main subject is Nursing • Also included in the program: • Medical Science • Clinical training • Degree project • Nursing degree, a vocational qualification, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing

  9. NURSING • Nursing programme • A Nursing degree gives opportunities to: • Specialist education and continuing education for nurses • Master degree and research education in Nursing • Work as a nurse in the European Union countries

  10. SOCIAL WORK Social Work programme, specialising in social care 210 ECTS credits Work within care of the elderly and disabled. The education is built on an integration of theory and practice. Beyond developing knowledge and skills the aim is personal development and increased empathetic ability. International perspective.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS ERASMUS and NORDPLUS Agreements concerning student- and teacher mobility with many european countries, for example Denmark, Iceland, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Agreement with University of Utah in U. S. Cooperation agreements with universities in Australia.
