  2. Elan S3 Coupe Renovation KKD 66D • Lotus Elan S3 Coupe. This 1966 baby Elan was rescued and suffered the indignity of a total rebuild between 2003 and 2008. Everything was either replaced with new (chassis, discs, calipers, rack, all bushes and pipes, shock absorbers, radiator, vacuum tanks, headlamps) or completely renovated (engine, gearbox, diff, heater, lights, tank etc). • There are a few sensible improvements include a stainless steel exhaust, leather interior, rear cage & side bars, seat belts, alternator and Japanese starter motor. • Since the rebuild it has covered less than 4000 summer miles and is kept indoors. • It is very reliable. • I have tons of invoices, all MOTs and insurance renewals. • It is very reliable and whilst not a concourse car, is very tidy and much admired. • It gets very little use so it is time for it to go. • It is valued at £14K for insurance.
