  5. ‘Sustainability Champions’ • Launched when the College began 10:10 • 25 Sustainability Champions from across the College • Mainly support staff • Training took place for the champions on staff development days

July 2010 Workshop Aims To revitalise the Environmental Champions network To understand what would help with recognition of the Environmental Champions role To investigate how Environmental Champions can feel more of a team to help tackle environmental matters To agree actions to directly or indirectly deliver environmental improvements 10

Terms of Reference To raise the level of environmental awareness of staff and students; To disseminate information regarding the environmental performance of the University; To promote and support good environmental practice in their school/department to reduce costs and deliver carbon savings; To act as a focal point for environmental matters; To act as a liaison between the school/department and the E&F department to suggest improvements and provide feedback within the estate; To meet on at least a quarterly basis to share good practice. 13
