  4. Game In your pods, spend 10 minutes discussing something you REALLY want to learn in this class. A topic, court case, etc. Break it down into 3 per table Write them on a piece of scratch paper Hand in paper for Exit Ticket.

  5. How to Choose a Topic? Final Project Topic – Due Monday! E-mailed to me. 1. General Topic First, ex: Legalization of Marijuana 2. Specific, ex: Legalization Process in Illinois , where are we in the process. Specific dates, legislation going into effect, what does the law say. 3.. Arguments to examine, ex: Arguments of both sides of the debate – Is legalization good for the economy and the people v. drug issues being exacerbated …should we legalize conservatively or liberally? 4.. Critical, (this can be a question) – What should the process look like to best help the people of Illinois? This will be your own opinion based on facts!!!
