  3. What is done already • Best practice should be respect, protect and fulfil HR-treaties • French/Greece: permit to stay on humanitarian grounds (incl working permit) • Nl: free services interpreter • Is: Court order for NGO to deliver medication to deportee

  4. Recommendations I • Countries should see benefits of migrants (Public health, NAP SIS) • Need to collect disaggregated data by states, CSO, NGO etc • Improve knowledge by training of all levels of service providers

  5. Recommendations II • Access to HOLISTIC treatment (health is not only absence of …. But..) I.e. social workers, psychologist, community workers etc • Monitor health care access in countries of origin / stay i.e. continuity of care is guaranteed. Special focus on vulnerable groups e.g. children • Sensitizing of media by communities themselves incl UDM in a participatory way as to avoid stigmatisation
