  4. According to the united nation environmental program report, more than 100 million tons of plastic is produced. ( 40 % is recycled and the rest is cannot be disposed) Due to the lack of waste management, plastic waste is neither collected properly nor disposed in an appropriate manner. Plastic waste and its problems

  5. Presence of waste plastics in landfill can cause poor air quality Waste plastics in the ocean has killed sea creatures every year Waste plastic bags were considered to be major factors in blocking sewers and drains, Plastic waste and its problems

  8. Hydrocarbon • All compounds that are consist of Carbon and Hydrogen. Ex) Methane, Ethane, Propane, Butane Methane(CH4) Propane (C3H8) Ethane(C2H6)

  9. Hydrocarbon Use • According to the numbers of carbon atoms.. 1-4 : heating and cooking fuel 5-7 : solvents and gasoline 6-18 : gasoline 12-24 : jet fuel and camp stove fuel 18-50 : diesel fuel, heating oil and lubricants 50+ : petroleum jelly, paraffin wax, tar and asphalt
