  2. An electric mountain bike enhances the rider’s pedaling power. This bike is a super fun off-road and is more durable than standard e-bikes. Typically, it weighs slightly more than the average e-bike. The weight depends on the size of motor, frame and battery. The electric mountain bike has high powered systems that can only be used in specific areas. How does it work? The electric mountain bike comes with battery-powered support that is activated through pedaling and, in some cases, a throttle. When the rider pushes pedals on a pedal-assist e-bike, a small motor engages and gives the rider a boost, so you can climb hills and ride over tough terrain. The user can ride without assistance being on. Three main components of e-bikes work in the following manner. Motor- It consists of the front hub, rear hub and mid-drive motor. Speed sensor assists in the ride when a rider begins pedaling while a torque sensor is much more responsive and matches riding speed while moving. It will remove grease from the area that needs to be lubricated. Regular cleaning with dry cloth and maintenance by oiling is necessary.
