PSAM 9 Pre-Conference Workshop in Taiwan Purpose Experienced safety professionals conduct a PSAM 9 Pre-Conference Workshop to introduce the concepts and tools commonly used in risk management, and some practical examples to illustrate their applications in critical safety engineering systems. Invited speakers and topics (1) Professor Enrico Zio (Politecnico di Milano, Italy) Topic 1：RAMS and Its Application Topic 2：Basics of the Monte Carlo Method with Applications to System Reliability (2) Dr. Bruce Hallbert (Idaho National Lab, USA) Topic 1：Human Reliability Analysis Topic 2：Risk Assessment Application in SCADA Security (3) Mr. Dana Kelly ( Idaho National Lab, USA) Topic：State-of-the-Art Bayesian Analysis (4) Dr. Tsu-Mu Kao (INER, Taiwan) Topic：Introduction of PSA Applications in the Nuclear and Petrochemical Industries Dates 15 - 16 May, 2008 (Thursday-Friday).
