  3. LEGEND THE TWIN BROTHERS OF MIRÓW AND BOBOLICE A long time ago two twin brothers Miron and Bobol lived in their castles Mirów and Bobolice. They wanted to have still close contact with each other, so they dug up the underground passages and combined them. They could often meet and talk to each other about private issues with no witnesses.

  4. Once, they entered into possession of big treasures, probably they got then from a relative, who died. They put them in the underground passages and the guard of it was a witch, friend of both brothers. They had no secrets from each other and they made most important decisions together.

  5. Until one day, when after military expeditions, one of brothers Bobol brought a lady of high birth, in who he fell in love and took her with him to the castle. The girl was very pretty.

  6. When the twin brother saw her, he also fell in love with her. The owner of Bobolice castle noticed it very fast. He was very angry and jealous because of that fact so he decided to hide the girl in the underground passages, there the big treasures were. He wanted to have her for himself.

  7. The place was guarded by the witch, who every night flew on her broomto theSabbaths to Bald Mountain. The owner of Bobolice castle forgot about it. Atthat time when the witch was absent, the second brother (owner of Mirów castle) met with the girl for a secret date. Every night when the witch flew away, she always left her black dog, which was like a devil.

  8. The dog barked veryloudlyevery time when the owner of Mirów castle came to see the girl. The noise must have been horrible so the owner of Bobolice castle one day went to see what was happening in the underground passage. He found a pair of lovers in a passionatehug.

  9. He was very furious so he took the sword and stabbed his brother to death. At the same moment lightning from the sky fell and hurt him deadly.

  10. THE END What happened with the girl? Probably she is still sitting underground with the treasures and the dog. When the witch is flyingtothe Sabbath, in the tower, there is a woman in white dress standing and staring into the distance.
