  2. Capt. Roger Watkins has taken a variety of training sessions on topics including medical-legal death scene investigation and addressing generational conflicts at work.

  3. Capt. Roger Watkins’s commitment to study indicates his flexibility and readiness to tackle the ever-evolving issues facing modern policing.

  4. After earning an Associate of Applied Science in Justice Systems - Police Science from Lorain County Community College, Roger Watkins started his career in law enforcement in 1997 as a Patrol Officer with the Lorain Police Department.

  5. Capt. Roger Watkins' contributions to the legal system were not disregarded. Only two of the awards he has received, the Lorain Police Good Conduct Award and the Lorain Police Commendation Medal, speak highly of his character, commitment, and contributions.

  6. Capt. Roger Watkins is a capable leader in the region. Thanks to his dedication to excellence, breadth of knowledge, and unshakable devotion to the safety and security of his city, he is a great asset to the Lorain Police Department and an inspiration to his coworkers.
