Layout for this unit: • Notebook: You will be keeping a notebook for this particular unit. In this notebook, you will be writing assigned journals, completing handouts, and completing quizzes over each act. This notebook is a project grade and will be graded on creativity, accuracy, and overall appearance. This will be turned in on 4/25 which will also be the day of your test for this play. You will be allowed to use your notebook on your test.
Project Scenes • You will also be “acting out” a scene from the play in a group. This scene will have a script and costumes will be needed. I will be giving you a list of scenes to choose from (momentarily) and you will be able to pick your groups. There can only be four to a group and if there is a need for “extras” you can pull from other groups for that purpose. This scene can either be acted out in class or you can create a movie for it. The language can be modern, but the script must stay true to the scene in the play.
