  1. What is the Canada Experience Class Program? The Canadian experience class (CEC) is an immigration program that allows individuals who have worked in Canada for at least one year to immigrate permanently. The CEC is a part of Canada's express entry Immigration System.

  2. CEC applicants must: At least three years of skilled job experience in Canada, working at least 12 months full-time (or the equivalent of part-time working hours). Meet the language proficiency standards required for each language (speaking, reading, listening, and writing) position.

  3. CEC candidates may take any of the following IRCC-approved language tests: CELPIP-General IELTS-General TEF (French) TCF (French)

  4. Canada Experience Class Process Make sure you satisfy all of the Canada Experience Class requirements, including having at least a year of admissible work experience in Canada and having the required level of proficiency in a language. Eligible individuals must submit an Express Entry profile to the pool of candidates.

  5. The IRCC holds an Express Entry draw and invites applicants who have reached a particular rank to apply for Canadian permanent residency. If you get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) you will be given sixty days to submit a completed application for permanent residency.
