  1. P R I N T E R C U S T O M E R S E R V I C E SCANNING ON CANON MX 870 PRINTER Check Connections Properly 1 CHECK YOUR PRINTER AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE PLUGGED IN THE POWER CABLE PROPERLY. YOUR USB CABLE MUST BE PROPERLY CONNECTED TO YOUR PRINTER AS WELL AS  THE COMPUTER Use High Quality Document 2 MAKE SURE THAT DOCUMENT YOU ARE USING FOR THE SCANNING IS OF HIGH- QUALITY. THE DOCUMENTS SHOULD NOT BE FADED. Clean the Scanner 3 TURN OFF YOUR CANON PRINTER AND UNPLUG IT. AFTER THAT CLEAN THE GLASS OF SCANNER WITH A GLASS CLEANING CLOTH. Scanning Resolution 4 NOW, YOU NEED TO INCREASE THE SCANNER RESOLUTION. TO ACCESS THE SCANNER RESOLUTION SETTINGS, OPEN THE ‘SCANNING RESOLUTION’ DIALOG BOX Set Colour 5 OPEN ‘SCANGEAR TOOL’, CLICK ON THE ‘PREFERENCE BUTTON’ PRESENT IN THE WINDOWS TOP RIGHT CORNER. CLICK THE ‘COLOR SETTINGS’ TAB. USUALLY, YOU CAN SET THE COLOR SETTINGS TO ‘RECOMMENDED FOR MORE INFO CONTACT CANON PRINTER SUPPORT
