  8. Agricultural Adjustment Act • Restricted agricultural production – for a good cause; • Payed farmers to not plant part of their land • Kill off excess livestock No cool pictures this time so here is a watermelon Why? You may or may not say. That’ll be $63.99 Reduced Crop Surplus = Less Crops = More Demand = Higher Valued = More Goodness Money given to farmers was called Subsidies and those were given through an exclusive tax on companies which processed farm products At first this act was labeled as unconstitutional but was later fixe in 1938 where the Federal Government would give the money Sources: http://www.freeuniv.com/lect/rankin/Unit7B.htm And Wikipedia, I admit it.

  9. Sources: http://www.ccclegacy.org/ http://www.ourdocuments.gov/doc.php?flash=true&doc=65 So what changes were made in the South? Why did any of these matter? Why should we care??!???!1one The most dramatic change in Valley life came from the electricity generated by TVA dams. Electric lights and modern appliances made life easier and farms more productive. Electricity also drew industries to the region, providing desperately needed jobs. The CCC is recognized as the single greatest conservation program in America.  The work of America's young men dramatically changed the future and today we still enjoy a legacy of natural resource treasures that dot the American landscape BAM! You should care because your grade depends on it *cough And reasons

  10. Yeah that’s it. Or IS it?
