Dr. Ching-Heng Ku: Director of IP Department at Taiwan Network Information Center

Dr. Ching-Heng Ku serves as the Director of the IP Department at the Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC). He earned his Ph.D. from National Chiao Tung University in 1999 and has extensive experience in networking research. An active participant in APNIC meetings, he chaired the NIR Hostmaster workshop and was co-chair of the DB SIG. He led the Secretariat of the Asia Pacific IPv6 Task Force and organized several significant IPv6 summits and meetings. Dr. Ku emphasizes collaboration and partnership with NIRs and looks forward to serving in the NIR SIG co-chair role.

  1. Biography Dr. Ching-Heng Ku currently is the Director of IP Department of Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC). He received the Ph.D. degree at National Chiao Tung University of Taiwan in 1999 and has worked and researched in networking for several years. He has actively participated the APNIC meeting for four years. He has ever been the chair of NIR Hostmaster workshop and the co-chair of DB SIG. He also took in charge of the Secretariat of Asia Pacific IPv6 Task Force for two years since 2006 and holding several Asia Pacific IPv6 summits, Asia Pacific IPv6 Task Force meetings, and Global IPv6 Summit in Taiwan.

  2. Speech I am friendly and has good relationship and communication with APNIC and NIRs. TWNIC also has the good partnerships with all NIRs.
