  5. The Solutions • Technologies readily available to protect public health, economically • Other states already have tighter standards

  6. Recommendations • This committee has an opportunity and responsibility to protect the health of NC citizens • Accept science-based recommendations from two state agencies • Pass the proposed standard today or at March meeting
