This report provides an overview of traffic counts and ongoing improvement projects around Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) as of June 2013. During peak hours (6-9 AM), an average of 8,702 vehicles pass through key gates, with specific counts showing 5,386 vehicles at Harford Gate (MD-22) and 3,316 at Maryland Gate (MD-715). Several intersections are under construction, including funded projects designed to alleviate congestion and enhance traffic flow, with expected openings from summer 2013 to spring 2017. In addition, efforts to increase commuter options and telework practices are outlined.
