Selected databases: • Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA) - Social Science contents: bibliographies, collections of full-text journals, selected websites and more • Scopus – collection of full-text journals, abstracts and citations, selected websites and more • Web of Science (WoS) - Social Science Citation Index: bibliography of journal articles, founded on citation analyses
The selected bases - some features of interest: • CSA-Social Science: thesaurus, sort options, mail, search alerts • Scopus: no thesaurus, but sort, mail and alert options • Web of Science: no thesaurus, but citation alert, advanced sort options, related articles
Some examples: • How to do a broad search for a specific subject or topic: how are case studies, interviews and story telling related in qualitative methodology? • How to search for a specific journal article: Denzin or perhaps Densin and the title is something about an elephant… and it is about evidence-based research
