Dispersal Order: Bemerton Estate and Thornhill Square area 18th Feb-17th Aug Increase in phone snatches Op Mavis Drugs Raid on Orkney House and closure order Council anti social behaviour hotline launch Halloween and Bonfire Night period Covert Surveillance deployed Riots Across London ASBO obtained banning troublemaker from Bemerton estate Four young people sign Acceptable Behaviour Contracts 10 year ASBO obtained for prolific local drug dealer Fireworks Project and Operation Autumn Nights Injunction obtained to keep trouble maker off Bemerton Regular Weapons sweeps by police and Park Guard Riot response Op Kirkin Op Withern Seven households served notice of seeking possession Regular monitoring meetings of ASB- housing led Partnership response to ASB and crime May 2011-April 2012

  3. 15 pedal bikes donated by police to support Sparkplug, to use in a local youth project. Cally Festival-attracts more than 6000 people from Islington and all over London New youth group, XLP, starts providing youth services in Caledonian ward ‘Bemerton Soul’ in Bingfield Park and Bemerton Cally Christmas Cally Festival Logo project with CYP funded- local young people design high profile marketing Groundwork Apprenticeships and employability schemes for local young people Police Property Act Funds donated to: ABC Times, Sparkplug, CYP Barnard Park Adv. Playground Extra sessions at Crumbles Castle funded to work with XLP to engage younger age group Family Intervention Project: supported local families in their own homes to help reduce offending behaviour. Community Alcohol Partnership- (CAP) May 2011 to January 2012 Positive action to help prevent ASB and Crime
