Pre-2011 Version: Policy, Procedures and Best Practices • Development Plan – provides  the teacher with a well thought out plan of action for the development of a successful online course. • Technology Plan – gives the teacher an opportunity to explore the technology available for delivering online learning opportunities. • Communication Plan – demonstrates the communication practices that are hoped for  in an online course. • Implementation Plan – provides the teacher with a course  of action to make the online course successful during the length of the course. • Review Plan – allows for feedback, assessment, and research of the online learning experience.

Data Collection • 59 online courses taught in five semesters between Fall 2012 and Spring 2014. • Forty of the courses were graduate level; and 19 were undergraduate level. • Courses covered a variety of subjects, including accounting, biblical studies, business, communication, church history, economics, education, English, mathematics, nursing, nutrition, and public health. • The courses were taught by forty-six different teachers. • Due to various logistical challenges, not all of the scores are available for all of the courses.
