  5. Hybrid Clubs • Mix of fairway wood and iron • Easier to hit than irons • Becoming more and more common • Longer club for greater ball speed and increase of launch angle

  6. Pitching Wedge • Short chips • Similar to 9-iron

  7. Sand Wedge • ¾ to full swing, hit sand 1 to 1 ½ inches behind the ball • Cannot touch the sand until shot

  8. Putter • Most frequent used club • Most important club
