  8. Photo #1 • Photo uses natural lighting • It comes from the sun and reflects off the snow • The main subject of the photo is the arctic fox, I know this because it is positioned in the center of the photo. • The fox hits two points in the rule of thirds showing its importance, Art Wolfe positioned himself so that the fox would be the main subject • I think the photographer is trying to show that this is a precious animal and is rare • I chose this photo because I really like how he took the photo and the subject

  9. Photo #2 • The photo of the two gray foxes also uses natural light to capture the image • The main subject of the photo is the two fox pups at play. • They take up most of the image • The foxes are in focus and the background is not, which shows that they are the main subject • The photographer is communicating that these are innocent animals • I chose this photo because I like the picture of the two foxes

  10. Photo #3 • This photo uses natural light • The main subject of the photo is the owl and the bush • They are in focus while the rest of the image is blurry • The photo is striking because it uses rule of thirds to have the owl in the right center and the background is out of focus • I chose this photo because I really enjoy it

  11. Photo #4 • This photo uses the sun as natural light • The main subject of the photo is the two birds that are in the center • Art Wolfe uses selective focus to capture the two puffins • They are in the center of the photo • I chose this photo because I think it is well taken • This is a very neat photo

  12. Photo #5 • This photo uses natural light • The tiger is the main subject because the rest of the photo is black • The tiger stands out because a shadow covers the rest of the screen • He is communicating that tigers are dangerous animals • I really like this photo, it is one of my favorite photos • I like how he uses the shadow in the photo
