  3. Demo Overview • SAP Demos are used as a tool to demonstrate the capabilities of SAP’s software. This document was created to show how to host these demos on your website.

  4. English Demos • You will find four English-speaking demos in this file: • SAP_CRM • SAP_ECommerce • SAP_Finance • SAP_Inventory To host these demos on your website, simply drop the folders onto your ftp into a directory such as http://www.partnerwebsite.com/demos/ To link to the demos from your website, use the following url, modifying the red text based on actual location of the demo folders and modifying the demo name accordingly: http://www.partnerwebsite.com/demos/SAP_CRM Remember to set up the link to open in a new window so the user can easily get back to the page they were on before watching the demo

  5. Modifying a Demo with Language-Specific Content • Demos that are in other languages can also be played through this demo player with some small file modifications. • The following files should be used as-is and not modified: • AC_RunActiveContent.js (located in the Scripts folder) • start.swf • If you are looking for a specific functional area or language, please visit the Partner Portal to download

  6. Modifying a Demo with Language-Specific Content The following files should be modified for the new demo you are creating: • movie1.swf, movie2.swf, etc. • The tracks of the demo should be saved as individual .swf files • Then name each .swf file in the order that you would like it to appear in the demo player (movie#.swf) • movie_info.xml • Open this XML file in WordPad • Remove or add lines to the XML document based on the total number of .swf files you have • For example, if you have 5 .swf files, you would add the line: <Movie>movie5.swf</Movie> above the line </DocumentRoot> • index.html • You can modify the title that appears above the player (i.e. SAP Business One Customer Relationship Management) • Open the .html file using an HTML editor and modify the copy accordingly
