  2. This session will review past HIV vaccine efforts, as well as novel viral vectors and advances in the design of vaccines to induce neutralizing antibodies. A panel will discuss options to accelerate the development of a much needed HIV vaccine.

  3. HIV Vaccine Efficacy Trials No NOTE: Phambili (HVTN 503) began to explore a regime similar to STEP in South Africa (not included).
