Format • Three rounds, 18 questions per round • Categories • Art and Literature • Current Events • Deaf History and Culture • Entertainment • Geography • History • Mathematics • Science, Technology, and Nature • Sports and Leisure
Scoring • Round 1: One point per correct answer • Round 2: Three points per correct answer • Round 3: Five points per correct answer • Challenges • Category is shown • Team may “challenge” • Correct answer: earn double points • Incorrect answer: lose double points

Time commitment • Diligent study (on your own) • Write matches • Practices • 2010-2011: practices every two weeks • 2011-2012: one practice per week during the fall; two practices per week during the spring • a four-day camp program during the summer of 2012 • the actual NAD College Bowl competition on Thursday evening, July 5, 2012, during the 51st biennial conference of the National Association of the Deaf in Louisville, Kentucky. • Occasional “intramural” competitions • Occasional team gatherings
