  3. 黃河的特色或重要性 • 東營市黃河口濕地博物館，位於東營市東營區東城沂河路95號，背靠東營市濕地公園，於2004年2月落成。博物館現有5個展廳，博物館佔地面積達7856平方米，建築物面積為3751平方米。東營市黃河口濕地博物館主要展示黃河三角洲地區豐富多樣的濕地生態系統和美麗的濕地自然景觀，是中國現有最大的濕地博物館。博物館內的生物多樣性展廳展示了黃河三角洲地區內生存的動植物標本八大類956種2127件；地質廳則用圖表和模型向公眾介紹黃河三角洲的歷史變遷、地形地貌及形成過程；生態廳使用大型開放式模擬展覽方式向公眾展示了保護濕地的重要性以及濕地在大自然生態系統中不可替代的重要作用。博物館主要通過展覽的方式向社會公眾呼籲保護被稱為「地球之腎」的濕地的重要性和急迫性。
