Timeline for NECAP Score Release Pre-Release Post Release Embargoed Release 1/30 - 1/31: Public release of all results Mid-February Public release of school level results 2/25 – March 7 NECAP Retest 1/8 & 1/14 LEA planning meetings Mid-February Communication activities for 11th grade students (recommended) On or around 1/24 Embargoed release of all results From 1/24-1/30 Communication activities for current 12th grade students From 1/8 to 1/24 Prep for staff, systems, and sequence of activities in advance of 2013 test score release

During Embargoed Release • Maintain strict embargo • Address technical issues raised by LEAs • Maintain focus on 12th grade results RIDE • Maintain focus on 12th grade communication and action • Communicate school level results to all staff • Communicate 12th grade student level results to identified staff • Share individual 12th grade results with students and families in a safe and confidential manner • Provide basic information to school committee and other key stakeholders (12th and 3-11 grade results) • Actively support and monitor at risk students LEA

Post Release • Engage in public communication around statewide results • Prepare for NECAP retest (12th graders only) • Provide technical assistance and answer questions quickly • Prepare for mid-February school level results release RIDE • Continue to communicate with students and staff about other test options • Manage NECAP retest logistics • Identify eligible students and implement waiver process • Initiate notification and support for 11th graders LEA
