1. Ready.Set.PLAG SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, May 22nd, 2011 Eastern KNIGHTS Lacrosse is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual PLAG tournament. Similar to 3 on 3 basketball, this event will be a competitive, fun filled afternoon of 3 on 3 lacrosse played by boys using girl’s sticks, girl’s goggles and girl’s rules. Modified field dimensions, inverted goals and non-contact action will challenge even the best male players in the Central PA area. All PLAG equipment (including mouth guards) will be supplied by the KNIGHTS. Four (4) man teams to be bracketed based on current grade level. Eight (8) teams per grade bracket with prizes awarded to each championship team. Guaranteed three (3) games within one (1) hour. Registration fee is $25 per player payable the day of the event. All paid participants will receive a gift for participating. In addition to the competitive PLAG event, each participant will be entered into three additional contests including fastest shot, skills course and stick trick competition (boys may use their personal sticks for these events). Prizes awarded to contest winners based on grade brackets. So you think you’re pretty good with a deep pocket boys stick… then let’s see how you do using a girls stick! Eastern York School District recently approved the introduction of both boys and girls lacrosse as an intramural spring sport for 2011. Your support of this event will enable the female student-athletes in the Eastern York community the opportunity to participate in the fastest sport on two feet as well as the fastest growing sport in the United States.
