Bodies involved in the RIA system • MINISTERS responsible for RIA and public consultations • GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION CENTRE monitoring all drafts (legal and legislative quality) and all RIAs (substantial quality) • GOVERNMENT CENTRE FOR STRATEGIC STUDIES prepares RIAs, taking account of important and long term impact of regulation

  4. GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION CENTRECoordination of RIA procedure • opinions on RIAs and public consultations undertaken by the Ministries • participation in the Team for Legal Regulations Quality

  5. Team for Legal Regulations Quality(20 high rank officers from ministries)political support for RIA Tasks: • Co-ordination of the programme to implement the recommendations of the OECD resulting from the Regulatory Reform Review (published in July 2001) • Publication and propagation of knowledge on RIA

  6. AIMS: • Enhance the conviction about benefits of RIA • Persuade to use available tools and build on them • Propagation of knowledge of methods • Enhance long term and systematic efforts

  7. ACTIONS: • Trainings on RIA system • Practical guidebooks on RIA

  8. Implementation: Government Legislation Centre Secretariat of the Team (in the Ministry of Economy, Labour, Social Policy) Government Centre for Strategic Studies
