  1. Status Report # 2 LCDE Noe Flores, Marcos Lujan, Andrew Patton, Mark Steele September 17, 2012 The goal of our project is to improve the quality of a LCD screen on a certain product.

  2. Overall Need:Improve current LCD Design • Look at current design and research alternatives. • Research parts needed • Enter design phase • Implement and test design • Redesign (if needed) and Finalize

  3. Recent Tasks completed: • Contacted current Engineers on project and set up a meeting time • Started to familiarize ourselves with current products and technology

  4. Ongoing/Pending tasks • Scheduling a weekly meeting time with current Engineers • Discuss Project Structure • Will roughly follow DMAIC process • The company is gathering some required parts the project

  5. Upcoming Tasks • Start to reverse engineer product • Order alternative parts • Begin substituting and testing product with new parts

  6. Project Schedule • Currently working on project schedule
