ACTIVITIES 2008 Meeting with DG Information Society & Media, Brussels, February Strategic fields of cooperation and role allocation AER secretariat, Strasbourg and Brussels, February AER E-he@lth Network meeting, Vienna (Austria), April EU Ministerial Conference ” eHealth without frontiers”, Portoroz (Slovenia), May Mrs Granström chaired a session on “Cross Border Health Services” on behalf of DG Information Society & Media andled an AER delegation

ACTIVITIES 2008 AER e-health Network meeting, Luzern (Switzerland), September Theme: ”How does European and national legislation influence the regions’ room for cross-border cooperation?” Swiss “eHealthCare.ch” Conference, Luzern (Switzerland), September Mrs Granström held a speech on “From policy making to implementation of sustainable solutions” and led an AER delegation.Study visit at St. Gallen’s main hospital European Health Forum Gastein, Austria, October Mrs Granström chaired a session on “Innovations in Coordinated Care” on behalf of DG Information Society & Media.

ACTIVITIES 2008 Open Days – European Week of Cities and Regions, Brussels, OctoberMrs Granström chaired the seminar ”e-Health - From Promise To Sustainability”on behalf of DG for Health and Consumersand participated in an expert panel led by Gerard Comyn (director of directorate H, DG InfoSo) on behalf of DG Information Society & Media. AER press conference on e-health -”Tales from Europe”, Brussels, October World of Health IT conference, Copenhagen, NovemberMrs Granström led an AER delegation and participated in several expert panels.
