  2. Housework • Who does the housework in your family? • Well, my mother does most of it. She cooks the dinner, and mops the floor. • What about your father? Does he help out around the house? • He does the dishes most nights, but that’s about it. • What about you? What do you do? • Me? I take the trash out when I’m home, and wash the dog.

Housework • Check the pictures at the bottom of page 21 • She’s doing the washing. = She’s doing the laundry. = She’s washing the clothes. • She’s going to mop the floor. • She’s doing the washing up. = She’s washing up. = She’s doing the dishes. = She’s washing the dishes. • She’s drying up. = She’s doing the drying.
