MPEA What we do… • Prepare leadership candidates for state assessments leading to Missouri certification • New SLLA Update • Roundtable Discussion • Support professional development opportunities • Two statewide conferences annually • Partner with organizations to co-facilitate and promote workshops – Leadership Academy, RPDC’s, MASSP, MAESP

MPEA What we do… • Strive to increase the diversity of educational leadership faculty and leadership candidates in Missouri. • District partnerships to recruit diverse candidates • Inclusive hiring practices / Induction for new faculty • Promote opportunities for mentoring new school and district leaders • Involvement in Missouri Administrator Mentoring Program (AMP)

MPEA What we do… • Showcase graduate candidates’ emerging leadership and research endeavors • Share the request for presentations with graduate candidates for our April 24, 2009 Spring Conference • Administer the UCEA/TEA-SIG Graduate Follow-up Survey • Statewide initiative • Also part of Dr. Terry Orr’s national study • Complete 2004 graduate survey by October 31, 2008
