Erasmus Mundus Master in PERCCOM: • Programme aims at combining advanced Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) with environmental awareness to enable world-class education and unique competences for ICT professionals who can build cleaner, greener, more resource and energy efficient cyber-physical systems.

  8. Programme structure During the four semesters the students move as a single cohort. They start their first semester at University of Lorraine (France).  The second semester, the cohort is at Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland), and the third one at Luleå University of Technology (Sweden). The last semester is dedicated to a thesis component and can be undertaken during the training period either in a private company or in one of the laboratories/departments of the different Universities involved in the consortium.

  9. Programme Structure • Semester 1: Sustainable Computer Network Engineering (30 ECTS) The objective is to provide students withfundamental competences in computer networks and in eco-design. All the courses are delivered at the University ofLorraine, but other partners contribute either in the context of seminar and of student projects.

  10. Programme Structure • Semester 2: Sustainable software and services. (30 ECTS) The objective is to educate students in softwareengineering, service engineering and cloud computing aspects that may result in sustainable solutions. Sustainablesoftware and services address challenges for building resource efficient software solutions. The courses are organizedat the Lappeenranta University of Technology and the seminar is organized at Saint Petersburg National ResearchUniversity of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics.

  11. Programme Structure Semester 3: Resource efficient pervasive computing systems and communications. (30 ECTS) The objective is toteach students fundamentals and advanced issues of mobile networks, mobile and distributed systems, energy efficientsensor networks, pervasive computing and mobile software and services. The students will learn how to applyacquired knowledge to various application domains focusing on sustainable development. The courses are given atLuleå University of Technology.

  12. Programme Structure Semester 4: Master Thesis project (30 ECTS) The objective is to pursue a Master Thesis project at partneruniversities and/or affiliated industrial companies for the whole semester. Each student will have two supervisors fromUniversity and/or company where (s)he is doing his/her Master thesis project.

  17. Scholarships: Full coverage of the EM PERCCOM participation costs: NON-EU STUDENT (Cat. A): 1000€ /month + Contribution to travel, installation,…: 4000 €/ year EU STUDENT (Cat. B): 500€/month Participation costs: NON EU STUDENT (Cat. A) : 4000€/semester EU STUDENT (Cat. B) : 2000€/semester
