  1. 14th Prize Presentation Ceremony for Students Winning External AwardsWhat is Going to Happen on the Day 9 April 2011 (Sat) 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm Loke Yew Hall

Code of Ethics • As all award recipients attending the Ceremony will be presented to the Vice-Chancellor or his representatives, the absence of any one recipient without prior notice is strictly prohibited as it may cause drastic confusion to the entire proceeding of the Ceremony. Please honour your commitment once you have indicated your intention to attend the Ceremony. • If you are unable to attend the Ceremony due to sickness or unforeseeable circumstance on 9 April, please send a text message to 6086 9155.

  3. Time Table of Events • Star Lounge Opening Hours: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm • Registration: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm • Ceremony: 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm

  4. Registration – Step 1 • All awardees and their guests should register from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. • Go to an appropriate registration desk (sport or non-sport) located at the main entrance of the Main Building (opposite to Hung Hing Ying Building) • Show your ticket for admission • Late comers will be admitted to the venue only when there is a suitable break during the Ceremony.

  5. Registration – Step 2 (optional) • You and your guests are invited to visit Star Lounge (MG07, Main Building) from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm • Trophies and photos of awardees are displayed; student docents will introduce awards and prizes • Backdrop is available for photo-shooting

  6. Registration – Step 3 • All guests are invited to be seated according to the allotted seat number at Loke Yew Hall

  7. Photo-taking in Loke Yew Hall • You and your guests are welcome to take photos in Loke Yew Hall before the Ceremony commences • All awardees and guests are invited to be seated by 6:50 pm

  8. Ceremony Commencesat 7:00 pm

  9. The Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Lap-Chee Tsui will give an opening remark Speech by VC (7:05 pm)

  10. High Table Dinner (7:10 pm)

  11. Our professional photographer will take photo of each award recipient when he/she is on the stage. These photos will be posted at the official website of the Ceremony for downloading. Commendation of Awards Upon commendation, you should proceed to the Vice-Chancellor / Dean of Student Affairs / Director of Institute of Human Performance or their representatives, shake hands, receive a pin and descend from the stage. Please return to your seat as instructed by our staff. You will receive a special pin. You are invited to wear it after you get back to your seat For receiving commendation, you will be asked to line up to the stage as instructed by our staff. Please wait alongside the staircase of the stage until your name is presented

  12. If you have more than 12 members in your group, please arrange the team into 2 rows with the taller ones to stand in the back row Commendation of Group Award Oops! Can’t see the lady at the back Good Take!

  13. Group Photo All guests and families of awardees get together and celebrate. Please follow the instructions of the Masters of Ceremony

  14. Feedback Form • You will be invited to complete an evaluation form at the end of the Ceremony to provide feedback and comments
