  1. What is Rawhide Ranch? Rawhide Ranch is a special place dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others through unique ranch opportunities for discovery and learning.

What is Rawhide Ranch? • A ranch camp for kids ages 7-15 on 37 acres in Bonsall, CA. • Activities for summer campers include: • Daily western riding lessons • Vaulting lessons • Intro to Rodeo • Archery & Climbing Tower • Animal Science Classes • Swimming with a Giant Water Slide • Roping & Harnessing/Driving Pony Carts • Proper care & feeding of animals • Horse Psychology………and so much more!

  3. Camp Programs • Summer Camp • Midweek program for Schools • Weekend program for Youth Groups (i.e. Scouts, YMCA, church youth group • Family Weekend www.rawhideranch.com

  4. Who are the Friends of Rawhide Ranch? • A group of volunteers who raise funds for camp scholarships for youth who would not otherwise be able to attend.

  5. Friends of Rawhide Ranch Mission Statement “To create leaders of tomorrow through camp scholarships at Rawhide Ranch, where the Old West, ranch life, and caring for animals thrive!”

  6. Please help make a dream come true Studies show that campers make positive gains during camp in self-reliance, independence, communication and self-esteem. Scholarships enrich the camp community, and cultivate a child’s understanding and compassion. Unfortunately, not every child can afford a camp experience. 

  7. GOAL • Our goal is to raise $200,000 this year for camp scholarships to support 200+ campers for this life-changing experience.

  8. Who is a likely candidate for a scholarship? 2013 Fundraising Efforts will focus on scholarships for... Youth whose families would not otherwise be able to afford the experience without financial assistance, Military youth who have a parent deployed at the time of application, Youth with life-threatening illnesses in remission, Youth Groups & Schools servicing disadvantaged youth that are interested in participating in mid-week and weekend programs.

Past Recipients have included • Rancho Damacitas Family Services • Miracles for Kids organization • Department of Child & Family Services, San Bernardino • Local Military Families • Girl Scouts of San Diego-Imperial Counties • Catholic Charities of Orange County • Bonsall Education Foundation • And many individual campers of need The Camp Experience has been possible through the generosity of donors like yourself as well as sponsorships provided by Rawhide Ranch Enterprises, LLC.

The American Camp Association • Is a 501(c)(3) organization that can offer tax advantages to donors and provide scholarships for youth who would not otherwise be able to experience camp. • All donations are made payable to The American Camp Association, for the benefit of Scholarships at Rawhide Ranch.
