  3. A Closer Look… Documenting where you’ve been can be to your advantage! The backside of Cailynn’s first quarter documents how many music lessons she’s taken. Believe it or not, teachers do occasionally make errors! Suppose a teacher says that you’ve only taken four lessons. If you can provide proof that you’ve taken more, what will the teacher have to do? How many band lessons has Cailynn had? They are highlighted in yellow. How many vocal lessons? They’re highlighted in pink. Always have the teacher initial that you’ve been there. That’s the proof!
