It can detect temperature, light magnetism chemicals, as well as the acoustic vibrations. These tiny sensors will be connected to wireless networks so the army commander in combat can issue orders to his soldiers from thousands of miles away. Smart dust can also be utilized for commercial and industrial monitoring, in addition to military applications. Just imagine everything that could be monitored if each wire of the building could be connected wirelessly via iot microchips? Managers won't have to call their employees to confirm information while they are away. Employees will simply carry around their laptops, turn on the laptops, input data, and view information online. There will be no need for employees to carry documents around on their own also. The iot technology permits data to be wirelessly transferred throughout the building at high speeds.
