Language Arts

On March 26, 2014, the Language Arts class focused on vocabulary review and reading comprehension. The day featured an entertaining incident where the crowd of seventh graders jubilantly jeered at two students, Orson and Danny, who were playfully involved in the action. Students participated in a quiz scheduled for Friday, discussed "The Scholarship Jacket," and learned about inferences and point of view through a video review. Close reading of the story enabled students to actively engage with the text while completing their inferences handout.
